Trails Dates, Venue & Rules Update

Please use the trail entry form only.

It was decided during the executive meeting held on 23 February that teams are allowed to enter 7+1 players for trail. Example: You have a u/15 player, playing for your schools 1st (u/18) team, you will now be able to play all 7 your players plus the 1 player playing for the 1st team. You are not allowed to send more than 8 players. Should the player you wish to add play for example u/16 or u/17. You will have to send fewer players from your u/15 team, because you will then only be allowed to send 7 players for trail. You will also need to send a letter, signed by the school's principal stating that the player you send are indeed playing for the 1st team. Should it later be discovered that the player are now playing for a lower or in the correct age group, such player can then be prevented from continuing to play trails.

We all have u/19 players that are not allowed to play for our teams anymore.

Eastern Gauteng Netball has put out an open invitation to all these learners.

Please don't push these players aside, give them the contact information.

EASTERN GAUTENG NIGHT LEAGUE

The start of the netball season is nearly upon us, so why not get you teams into shape with a night league. The night league was started by Eastern Gauteng Netball about 2 years ago, nand has gone from strenght to strenght. Please see the attached document about starting dates and times.

COACHING COURSE

The ideal course for first time coaches as well as our advanced couches.
This course can act as a great introduction to Netball coaching or
as a refresher course for the advance coaches out there.

The University of Johannesburg is looking for umpires. The money is not good but the experience is excellent. Transport there and back is not a problem.
